When the name "HighPoint Church Of Brandon" was first proposed, it just sounded right. Every part of the name seemed to fit not just the church's goals for the community, but also the physical location of the church. (HighPoint Church is located on one of the highest geographical locations in Central Florida.) Though location is very important, it was the first part that intrigued me the most. The idea of a church being a place that exists for the sole purpose of helping people reach the high point of their walk with Christ just blew me away. After all, isn't that what it's really all about?

While we don't claim to have all the answers......we know the One who does. All of the answers to life's most difficult questions are found in God's Word, the Bible. HighPoint Church of Brandon, invites you to come and study the Word with us as we search together for answers to some of those difficult questions. Join us on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m., in the main auditorium, as we study  the Word of God  together in an open,  relaxed  atmosphere. Questions are always welcomed and comments are encouraged.   A phrase that is used quite often at HighPoint Church is that "everyone should have a ministry". Sometimes the first (and usually easiest) response that we hear is  "I can't preach" or "I can't teach". Maybe that's not you. Instead, you are one of the growing number of people who are realizing that preaching and teaching are only two of the many areas of ministry that are available to believers. The problem is that you're not sure what to do about it.

  At HighPoint Church, we realize that God has called each of us as believers to serve as different parts of the same body. For example, our hands serve as wonderful tools for us to do everyday tasks. With that in mind, I certainly would not want to have to walk around on them every day. Likewise, it might seem a bit unusual to some people if you used your feet at the dinner table tonight to hold your fork. Simply stated, the differences in the individual uses of these body parts do not  take away from their individual importance to the body as a whole. 

  In this same way, there are many different areas of service available within the body of Christ and at HighPoint Church. Though each is different in function it does not diminish the value of its importance.
